FRM^®

The FRM certification focuses on how financial institutions identify, measure, and manage risk. It combines quantitative analysis with an understanding of financial markets, products, and the models used to assess exposure and make risk decisions.

Part I establishes the foundations: risk management, quantitative analysis, financial markets and products, and valuation and risk models. Part II applies that foundation to market, credit, operational, and liquidity risk, alongside investment management and current issues in the profession.
