The CMA certification centres on the financial information and judgement that drive business decisions. It brings together management accounting, planning, performance analysis, and corporate finance, with an emphasis on using information to support strategy and control.
Part 1 covers financial reporting, planning, budgeting, performance and cost management, internal controls, and technology and analytics. Part 2 focuses on financial analysis, corporate finance, decision analysis, risk, investment decisions, and professional ethics. Both parts require you to connect calculations with their business implications.
